Colors
So a friend of mine drew up a uniform design based on my description of a character named Nancy Perez from a story I'm writing. It takes place 250ish years in the future. I did some color variations for the various branches of the military. There is no "air force", it got rolled into the navy, since pretty much anything with planes or ships happens in space.

Each branch has there own uses of atmosphere based craft. The army would be the largest user of such vehicle type, but mostly in a transport role. The concept of "air superiority" went out of the window as soon as orbital bombardments became a viable tactic.
Was doing a search for female uniforms on Google and came across this. I know it's 3 years after you posted it, but in case you care, the Army is the uniform that is more gray while the Marine Corps uniform has always been more green.
